Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

These shots are from August 2022. It includes on of the best sunrise shots I think I have ever seen. 

While on this trip we were able to do something my wife has always wanted to do, see baby turtles. We were able to join a local science team that was digging up a nest that had hatched several days before. They found several that were still alive that never made it to the surface and released them into the Big Blue! 

What a great experience! It would have been a picture perfect day if it were not for the no-see-um bug bites! I have heard stories of these devil bugs but always chalked it up to exaggeration. Oh no! The stories were understated! These bites were torturous and required medical attention and prescription medication. The bites remained extremely painful for over two weeks and kept itching for another two after that.
